The bore is bright with slightly worn rifling and is chambered in 7mm REMINGTON MAGNUM. This rifle is in Excellent condition with minor scuffs and marks on the metal and wood. With all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.īox, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm as described in “Sights / Optics”. The action is smooth and locks up tightly. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. The screw heads are sharp with very light tooling visible. There is a spot of wear on the underside of the barrel beneath the stock. There is light wear and finish loss on the interacting metal surfaces of the bolt and action. The balance of the finish shows sparse scuffs and scratches on the barrel, receiver, floor plate and trigger guard. Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The bluing is deep and strong.īore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is very lightly worn. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.įinish Originality: The barrel and action’s finish look to be original with light pin prick erosion visible under the finish. The pad has a black spacer and textured surface. The LOP measures 13-3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the Pachmayer Old English marked recoil pad. The stock displays very light scuffs and scratches in sparse areas as photographed. The stock features a hard wood forend tip and blued metal grip cap, a fluted comb and pronounced left side cheek piece. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is finely checkered on the forend and pistol grip with Flur de Lis borders swooping gracefully into the checkering. The scope and mounting system rate in about Excellent overall condition. The zoom ring is stiff with slight ‘grit’ when augmented. The optics are sharp and very bright with no apparent damage to the objectives or internal workings of the scope. The rings are holding a Leupold 3.5 to 10 time magnification scope with 40mm front objective and duplex crosshairs. The drilled and tapped receiver has a Buehler one piece scope base and ring system. Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The butt pad is marked “Old English / Pachmayer”.īarrel Length: 26”, measuring 0.645” at the muzzle. The forward scope base is marked “BUEHLER / ORINDA, CAL.” The scope is marked “LEUPOLD VARI-X III 3.5 X 10” with the company logo. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, “FN” in an oval and “MADE IN BELGIUM”> The trigger assembly block is marked “FINLAND”. The bottom of the receiver is marked with a slew of proof marks as photographed.
